Branding the Pitmaster.
When Sonny's BBQ came to Push they needed a full rebrand. The overall theme in all of the marketing, advertising and design that we decided to leverage was the fact that the Pitmaster was their hero. It was a truth that stood the test of time since they opened in 1968 and needed to be at the forefront of everything in the most authentic way possible.
All areas of their brand were redesigned and redefined. We created an identity system for each of the following sub-brands below. We also created their charity organization, Random Acts of BBQ, that surprises needy families or individuals and throws them and a group of friends a BBQ. As well as Art Direction and Design, I also composed the music for the TV spots during my time at Push. The "Smoker" brand spot below was also awarder a Silver National Addy Award for sound design.
